Hi Mr. Simons. Yes, I realised there is another Jack, so I will post as Jack K from now on. :)

I understand why my parents have strict rules. And I agree I am lucky not to have debt since I live at home! But I wish they were a little bit more lenient from time to time and trusted me a bit more. For example, I have made some friends at university who happen to be girls, but I am not allowed to have them around to the house just because of their gender. And I know I'm not perfect, but sometimes it feels like no matter how hard I try, my parents always find an excuse to spank me. I know they have high standards and expectations, but I really do try to behave, do all my chores correctly, and so on. But nonetheless it feels like at least once a week I end up spanked and without clothes for the day.

Out of curiosity, which of my parents' rules do you agree with in particular?
