As a step up from the clapper, Amazon and Google have devices that respond to voice commands to turn plug in devices on and off. We now have these all over the house and even control outside lights with them. My dad loves using them but isn't real good at setting them up so one of my chores is maintaining the whole system.
He made me set up a "Justin bedtime" routine that turns off all my bedroom lights upon his command. He wants me to set up a "Smart spanking" command for a Father's Day gift. 😁
