It seems pointless to bring such a prosecution now. It doesn't even sound all that severe. Every parent if every spanked boy on this forum would be guilty of severe abuse by these standards and no boy on here would think their parents are abusers, I am sure.

It is why I always say though, that spanked British kids on here need to be very careful what they tell teachers etc and what they allow such authority figures to see, if they don't want their parents to end up in court.
