Liam,

Seriously this time: Heed Graeme's advice:

>I'm not sure how your Dad
>would feel about you recording your spanking - if I
>had a boy who did that I would definitely give his
>backside another thrashing.

Spanking II - The Sequel

Regardless of where you store the video you should encrypt it. Do your folks ever audit your storage and demand access to everything? Don't want them finding it wherever it is. I use an obsolete encryption program called TrueCrypt mainly because it is not from Microsoft. I don't trust Bill Gates as far as I can toss him by his whiskers. Are you sure that BitLocker is secure - that Microsoft hasn't included some back door loophole that will allow the government (or anybody else with the necessary evil intent) to unlock your drive after paying Microsoft a fee? Besides, anything BitLocked can be circumvented by your parents who can simply demand the password from you. TrueCrypt encrypts your file which you can name anything you wish and store anywhere you want, as long as you remember where you put it. I name my files with a 10 digit string of random characters.CAB and store it in my Windows directory. Nothing indicates that is anything other than a Windows CAB file. If my mom demands to see the file I can just tell her that it's a Windows thing and I don't have access to it.

Best of all would be to realize that recording that was a tad too dangerous and delete the file. Use BleachBit to render the file truly unrecoverable.

-Jerry
