I just came across this post and frankly am disgusted. The thought that anybody would think a boy should be hit on his testicles or penis for getting an erection is damn sick.

I have two boys and a girl. I spank my kids when needed on their bare bottoms. They often see each other get spanked as their spankings are usually done in the living room. Sometimes my boys do have erections when they are getting spanked. How I handle it, is I IGNORE IT. They can't help it. They aren't doing it on purpose. They aren't being rude or nasty, It just happens. I saw it happen with my brother a few times when he was spanked. Momma like me, ignored it. For a child, getting their butt spanked for misbehavior is punishment enough. Why abuse them over something they can't control? Hitting a child on their crotch is child abuse and any "parent" doing it, needs to be locked up.

I agree with Stephan.
