Hello,

I'm the mom of 3 children (2, 4, 6) and I would like to test mouth soaping on my 2 oldest. I think especially my girl of 6 would benefit from this discipline (of course I spank them).

I've read sometimes short posts but it would be great if a mom with experience could explain me the technique with details. I certainly want to teach the girl a good lesson but in a safe way.

What sort of soap ? which size the bar ? How do you "work" in a child's mouth (the opening is very small) ?
Do you use a piece of cloth or directly the bar of soap ?
How long do they have to keep the bar in their mouth ? I've read about combining mouth soaping and a spanking that follows but I don't understand how the child can keep biting on the soap while being spanked (with crying, sobbing, screaming and so on).

I've read also about washing their mouth with one hand while paddling their bottom with the other hand to keep them quiet. Has someone tried this ?

Is that not dangerous if the child swallow too much suds ?
