Yes, they kneel before me to thank me for their punishment. They are to tell me what they did wrong, whey it was wrong, how they've been punished, why they deserved their punishment, what they've learned from their punishment, and, finally, thank me for punishing them.

And yes, I do use cornertime with my sons and husband. Usually a half hour, with the first part facing the wall and the second part facing the room (still nude of course ) -- very effective if others are there.
