Obviously I wont tell a parent what they HAVE to do, to each our own, only share my experiences or advice.

But I usually do say please don't use the belt. It is effective for some I don't deny that, but I will clarify my feelings.

A belt can be a very scary implement for a child , yes you want a child to want to avoid spankings at all cost and not want to go through it, but fear can be damaging,

the belt is quite intense and tends to be harsh, you cant easily use it over the knee and using it in certain other positions, its too easy for the belt to accidentally miss its target.

If you go too hard with it it leaves nasty welts and bruises possibly, and thats not good either, I just find other implements if you use them to be more personal and intimate if you will.

I have trauma from the belt as a child too which my experiences add to my feelings on it. Just want people to consider these points when considering using or continuing to use the belt, make informed decisions.

ALso I am not AT ALL judging those who do use the belt.
