Yes, I’ve posted that recollection before, but can’t remember in which thread. I’m glad you found it interesting.

Bella and I remained friends until a couple of years ago when she passed away. There were periods of years when I didn’t see her or Anthony because I went away to college and never returned to Western Pennsylvania to live whereas both Anthony and Bella stayed closer to home.

She married and had three children and several grandchildren. I assume she was as happy as any of us. She seemed happy to me.

I know that Bella and Anthony each saw the other get spanked because they teased each other about it in my presence. They were only a year apart in age and battled constantly as some siblings do and their parents were old fashioned first generation Italian Americans who spanked as a first disciplinary option. I personally never messed with their mother who would spank at the drop of a hat. Talk about “old school!”
