Sweetie, I'm very familiar with spankings given as you put it, on the spot. Momma and Daddy called them "attention getters". If my sibs or I had been acting up in public whether it was being outside, in a store, or at someone else's house, after a warning if we kept it up, we would get one or two sharp slaps across whatever we had on at the time, along with the promise of a trip to the restroom or car, or a real spanking when we got home. Of course a "real spanking" meant we were gonna get our bare little butts spanked good.

The closest I came to getting the real thing in public happened at seven. When I was acting up at the local pool. I kept running on the deck and the Lifeguards kept calling me out on it. Then Momma grabbed me by the arm and while I assume it was going to be an "attention getter", she ended up giving me several smacks on the butt right there and all the way back to where our towels were. I was wearing a one piece suit which was riding up enough to leave my little butt more than half bare. Then she made me sit out for about a half hour. So I sat and cried. While I was sitting, I saw a boy from school who would eventually become my boyfriend and later my husband, get his bare butt spanked by his Momma in front of everybody for horseplay. It was a sight to see. Before Momma let me get back up and play, she told me I'd better behave myself or she'd pull my swimsuit down and give me a real spanking right there in front of everybody. Then gave me a smack on the butt and sent me on my way.
