My mom was a fan of what I have seen called on the spot spankings.

She would place her hand on my back and push so that I was bent over at roughly a 90 degree angle, and then smack my behind 5 or 6 times. If I was wearing something with an elastic waistband that could easily be slid down, she would pull down my pants and underwear, but most of the time she didn’t bother.

I received “real” spankings at home, but she would give me the lighter version anywhere. I can vividly recall being spanked in a dressing room at Old Navy, and in a cloak room at a bed and breakfast we were staying in for my cousin’s wedding.

These little spankings didn’t hurt much but they got the message across!
