I don’t remember much dialogue during the spanking. Before I was sentenced to a spanking there would be a lot of yelling from my father and a lot of crying from me trying to defend myself or say I was sorry. I remember when I was over my father’s lap and he starting pulling down my pants and my Ghostbuster underpants, I would be sobbing and I would say I was sorry and that I would not make that mistake again; and sometimes I would ask him how many spanks he was going to give me with the paddle or belt, and I don’t remember him ever giving much of an answer. If he did answer my question, it was something vague like, “I’m going to stop when I think you’ve had enough. After that hard paddle started smacking my behind there was complete silence on his and, and on my end there were the deafening gunshot smack on my bare skin, and shrieks and howls of pain each time another spank landed, and a constant moaning, hopeless sobbing that shook my body. In the early stage of the spanking I might have said things like, “I’m sorry,” “ow,” “it hurts,” “please stop.” But after just a few early spanks I became a blubbering, sobbing, snot nosed mess that could not articulate any words or sentences.

If I had been scolded and asked questions during the actual spanking, I don’t think I would have heard them correctly or even processed them correctly. I was diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder when I was six or seven, and background noise causes me to not process what is being spoken to me correctly. With those loud pops of the paddle on bare skin, and my screams and sobbing echoing in my bedroom at a decibel that everyone who was upstairs would have been able to hear, I doubt I would have understood or processed anything that was being said to me.
