I share with those who have mixed feelings. It's been over 40 years since my last childhood spanking but I remember the last few like they just happened a few days ago. At the time I simply hated spankings for the unbearable sting they brought. I also hated that (at the time) they seemed to go on for an eternity, even though on average the actual spankings themselves were probably just 30-40 seconds. Considering everything, I think spankings were more beneficial than harmful.
