What I remember about spankings over dad's lap was my limited view. He bent me way over- my head near the floor - so all I could see was carpet or tile, about to be wet with my tears.
He'd yank my underpants down and I'd want to reach back but didn't, confused with what to do with my hands - flat on the floor? Just dangling?
If I looked, I could see behind myself, the room upside down, my legs sticking out with my underpants a round my ankles. Sometimes I could see people's feet when mom or others were there watching.

My view limited to right in front of me, while all the "action" was happening behind me - to my behind - the crisp SPANKS the quick heat as tears blurred my vision further.
I'd get a glance at the wall in front of me when the hand/paddle burned so hot I'd arched up, wailing, tears flying.

I couldn't see but I could feel/hear the show I was putting on on the other side of Dad's lap. A bare bottom boy kicking, my bawling and the loud SMACKING behind me.
It was like I was in my own private spanking world like that so it was always a shock when let up, I'd suddenly see the whole room and anyone watching while I sobbed and rubbed.
