I was also spanked while standing.

My mom would hold me by my left arm and turn me around so that I was facing away from her.

She would then spank me with a flip-flop or sandal, or sometimes with the belt.

At that point all I could do was try to spin in circles, bend my body forward to try to avoid the spanking, and I would also jump around, which ended up looking like some kind of spanking dance.

In case you're wondering, it was always over my clothes.
