She confessed because her brother wouldn't and her dad was going to keep whipping them both until one of them confessed. He had already given them both ten licks when she finally gave in and admitted to it even though she was innocent. You're right, it was totally unfair. But then again, my brother did that to me several times. He would literally tell me, "If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me." Then he would lie and deny until both of us got in trouble. So I ended up getting a few undeserved spankings. But the way I look at it, there were several times I should have gotten spanked and didn't so it balanced out.

My sister and I were pretty loyal to each other and would often cover for each other. Sometimes we got busted though because our stories didn't always match up and mom would spank us both.
