That would be really cute if he can make you one. I know it got to be something kind of fun to mess with when I was a kid. We'd prank each other and mom and dad by putting their dog or each others dogs in the doghouse.

I know what you mean about the teachers. My first three were like that and I loved them. Then in Jr. High my seventh grade math teacher was another teacher I was very fond of. We remained friends long after I was grown. I ran into her in the mall a little over a year ago. She was shopping with one of her granddaughters. We hugged and talked for a few minutes and she introduced me to her granddaughter who had just turned twelve. While we talked she told her daughter that I was one of her favorite students. and I just had to be ornery and say, "Yeah except when she had to take me out in the hall." and I made a swinging motion in with my arm like I was swinging a paddle. Her granddaughter nodded her head and started laughing. Then my former teacher gave me a playful smack on my arm and said, "Gary I NEVER took you out in the hall!" I looked at the girl, nodded my head and winked. When she saw that, she said, "Gary ..... Maybe I should have paddled you." Her granddaughter and I both started laughing and then I hugged her and said, "Gayla, I'm just playing." then I told the girl, No, your grandma never paddled me hon, she was one of my favorite teachers and I always tried to behave in her class.

I got the sad news about six months ago she had passed away.

I feel like you do Sonya, and wish there were more teachers like Mrs. Barnard, Mrs. Greenwell and Mrs. Dorsey.
