Probably my most vivid memory of witnessing a bare bottom spanking occurred when I was 8. I was swimming with my best friend Lisa and her brother Kevin, 10 at the time at their house. About an hour went by when Lisa's mom, whom called Mrs. O'Grady, came out and said for us to get out of the pool as a radio alert (this was well before the internet days) indicted a short but strong t-storm moving through the area. Lisa and I obeyed, but Kevin begged for a few more minutes and his mom told him out now! Kevin exited the pool but muttered something under his breath and I could see Mrs. O'Grady was not happy.

As we headed for the house, she grabbed Kevin by the shoulders and started lecturing him, waving her finger and scolding not to be disrespectful. Kevin was scared and as soon as we got inside the kitchen Mrs. O'Grady sat in a chair and called Kevin over. Without a word being said, she yanked his swimtrunks down and told him so step out of them. He immediately covered his genitals, but not before I had a glance.

She dried him off a bit and then took him over her lap and started applying her hand to his buttocks. Lisa and I were to the side and could see his bottom redden, but I was more fascinated by watching Mrs. O'Grady's focus on Kevin's bottom and the way she swung her arm (Later I would learn she was an avid tennis player and no doubt she applied a lot of strength) and then Kevin starting to cry.
