If you witnessed a spanking, what tended to be the focus of your interest and gaze?

Growing up I often witnessed bare bottom spankings of my kid sister and all of my cousins, both male and female, along with a couple family friends over the years. At least 90% of these spankings were inflicted over the knee by hand, naked below the waist. I usually centered my attention on their faces at first. Before the spanking started they would have a look of fear and shame, clad in just a waist length shirt and underwear. The point of spanking a child bare bottom in front of other kids, particularly the opposite sex after roughly age 9, was to include embarrassment as part of the punishment. This was not a secret and often stated in no uncertain terms. It wasn't just our bare bottoms that would be seen, and it was just as important for our faces to turn red as our bottoms if not more so.

I enjoyed watching their faces blush in real time as the moment they would have to take off their underwear with all eyes on them came closer and closer. I know for a fact I looked no better when I was the one being punished. I didn't enjoy this nearly as much with my male cousins as I did with my female cousins and sister. Honestly it was more of a treat to see the reaction of the girls watching the boys get exposed. I felt sympathy for my fellow boys, being quite modest myself after age 8, but there was something I always found humorous about the wide eyed gawking from the girls, at least when it wasn't me they were gawking at. It was much more of a treat to see the girls strip naked from the waist down, and I enjoyed being a significant factor in the embarrassment they would feel from their nakedness being exposed. When they were given the order to take off their underpants I made sure to look between their legs. While I was much less interested in the boys, when they were spanked in front of me I admit I was interested enough to look before they quickly went over the knee, if only to measure up I suppose. Then came the frantic look of pain as they twisted and turned and first tears appeared. Some kids tried to grit their teeth to save some dignity, but eventually the dam would burst and tears were everywhere as the look of agony and humiliation took over.

When they were finally let up, my focus returned to between their legs. Sometimes I stared at the girls' vulva as long as I could with the hope they would see me looking. It wasn't even that it was particularly enticing to look at. It's the fact that me being able to see was something they found shameful.

On the rare occasion a child was sentenced to post-spanking corner time ironically this is the only time I would focus my gaze on their scarlet red bottoms, which was the primary target of the punishment. If they were made to turn around and face the room with legs apart and hands on head for 10 seconds as one very rare final humiliation before being allowed to dress, which I witnessed only 3 times in total, I stared first between their legs for a few seconds but finally returned my gaze to look at their crimson face of abject mortification.
