I am uncertain about the ones that actually say fli-back on them, but most of the paddles that come with a ball, attached with a rubberband, are thin and flimsy.

Back in the early 2000s, I bought a toy paddle, complete with the nall attached with a rubber band, from a Cracker Barrel restaurant and country store. These are a collectors item with spanks. It is made from a good grade of 3/8th inch plywood and can deliver an intense sting. I love it because it is great for OTK and has a longer handle than most of the toy paddles.

I have bought thinner paddles, both wood and cardboard, from Dollar tree and glued 2 of them together. Even the double cardboard paddle can make most Spankees squirm.
