Honey, I'll tell you. My one experience getting the willow switch from Granny, was one of the worst beatings I ever had. I was only six when she whipped me, and I had welts all over my butt, front and backs of my legs, my lower back and my right arm. A few of the welts on my butt and thighs almost broke the skin. As far as I'm concerned a switch is one of the most cruel implements you can use. The only thing I could imagine being worse would be a whip.
