Just a word to the wise, lw, this forum is about spankings witnessed or received, not given.

It never occurred to me when I was little that giving a spanking might hurt my parents' hands. I thought their hands were made of iron when they spanked my sister or me.

But I do recall my peeved, out-of-patience mother giving my sister an especially long, hard spanking when she was ten, and mom stopping very abruptly after 30 slaps or so.

Perhaps her palm hurt too much for her to continue?
