What I remember is running to my room, crying, after a spanking, and the incident was regarded as closed, the problem was fixed. As a parent, I found that later the child might come for a reassuring cuddle but we didn't talk about it. But it seems lots of parents would hug and talk to their children about it? in your experience is that right after, or maybe a while later? And what are some of the things the parent/child might say?
