I assume she vented and I know she got some advice. I heard about all of this later on in life. I know Mom was very concerned about being calm and I guess talking things through probably helped with that. Dad was a big ole teddy bear so he was probably not the one to talk with. I head later that one of the neighbor Moms thought I needed a bit more discipline and probably encouraged Mom to be a bit tougher.
