You make the right distinction between a parent and an adult who is not the parent 'enjoying' spanking a kid or teen.
In my opinion and also from experience I think it would be extremely rare for a biological parent to enjoy spanking their own kids.
On the other hand it would be more likely for a non-parent to enjoy spanking a kid who is not their own kid.
Also the harshness of the spanking has nothing to do with whether one enjoys spanking or not. One can spank harshly for disciplinary reasons without enjoying it while others can spank lightly for enjoyment.
