My perspective and experience has been different from what has been shared here already. Where I can certainly understand that long held perspective that a girl’s modesty be protected, it also depends on whichever adult’s care you are under at the moment. I would say that while modesty upheld may have been considered, it was still at the discretion of whoever was in charge, such as in Tim’s shared experience.

Regarding nudity outside of spanking, my experiences was mostly that modesty was expected for girls. But again, it depended which family I was with. Particularly, in the more recent decades, modesty was more of a personal choice. What I mean by that, is if I was comfortable walking around without a towel after a shower, then I did so. Of course, I am not saying there were stretches of prolonged nudity, just that it was left to me how to handle it.

It’s not something, I always did. But, certainly, it happened with some friends and their families, where I had that rapport. Where my friends or their siblings would see each other bare bottom/nude on occasion, besides spankings being given. But, this was more of situations we kept between ourselves. Not directly letting the parents know. If they did know, they did not object to it. But also, the mentality towards nudity and modest had changed a lot by the 90’s lol

My good friend’s brother who I referred to in my other post, and I saw each other nude every so often. Coming from/ going to the shower. And it was just matter of fact. Though, admittedly, we both liked what we saw. Though, in different circumstances, with other boys, where I did not have that same level of rapport, I certainly would be offended if they saw me nude.
