Subject: Can anyone explain these two witnessed spankings?

Once while parking my car, I heard a high pitched sound like a tea kettle. As I walked in the lot toward the building I was to enter, I saw the source of the noise, a mom sitting on the right front seat, spanking a boy of5-6 over her lap. She was spanking as fast (4-5 swats per second) and as hard as possible. As I moved on, she continued to spank. He must have gotten 40-50 spanks. When I returned to my car, I saw him standing on the drivers side, holding his bottom and crying.
A mom had enough of her 5-6 year old daughter’s misbehavior. She led her 25 feet or so to a chair, sat down, put the girl over her lap, adjusted her, then adjusted her again, then gave her one medium swat on her bottom.

Questions: 1- did you ever receive, give or witness anything like the two spankings described? 2- any ideas what might behavior in a parked car have caused such a monster spanking like the first example? 3- any ideas about what the mom was thinking in the second? As to the second, I could perhaps understand a mom saying something like. This is how I will spank you when we get home, only longer and harder, if you don’t stop being a brat.
