I'm not sure one would call it a "crush," but I idolized my best friend's oldest brother. He was a bit more than 5 years older than me, 14 when he started as my babysitter; I was 9. He was, of course much taller than me, and all lean muscle from the work on their farm. whether it was a pick up game of baseball in the pasture, or swimming at the swimming hole in the creek at the bottom of their pasture, he was a natural athlete. His hair was dirty blonde, and his eyes were steely blue. All the kids in that family were good looking.
