I wasn't, since I would already be crying and frantically begging not to be spanked and promising to be good. Lecturing me would have been pointless; I wouldn't have heard a thing.

But my sister sometimes was. I remember looking on with fascinated horror at my sister draped across our mother's lap, with her panties down, looking anxiously back over her shoulder as our mother gave her some last pre-spanking admonishments.
