Janet, did your begging and pleading ever move your mother to change her mind about spanking you? Mine never did, yet I implored and promised anyhow.

My sister recognized that once Mommy said, "You're going to be spanked, young lady," that meant you were going to be SPANKED and nothing you did or said would change her mind.

But I would be in denial, desperately trying to prevent the inevitable even while face down across her lap with my panties being tugged down.
