Thanks for your response. I'm not offended.

I'm only familiar with rainbow as an LGBTQ thing. In any case, while I've never been a fan of participation trophies, it doesn't follow then that parents who don't use physical punishment are somehow spoiling their kids. I knew kids growing up who were spanked or beaten who developed serious behavior problems, and that's been well-documented beyond what I know of personally. I know many kids today who are disciplined with other methods and are doing fine. There is no simple cause and effect that ties spanking to society's successes or failures.

These are not delusions. I live in a country where an older generation, who were raised in times where corporal punishment was the norm, are some of the most dishonest, cowardly, and thoroughly corrupt people I've seen in my lifetime. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of old-fashioned discipline.

I'm glad you are able to now stand up to those who disagree with you, but how you make your arguments reflects on the discipline you are trying to sell.
