Check rule #4 here regarding spankings you have given.

While the majority of spankings I received were the result of misbehavior, I believe other punishment methods would have been much better for me. Other than some pleasure I get from my obsessions about spanking, my adult life has been negatively shaped in several ways by my childhood experiences. As parents, my wife and I have not continued the cycle, and are lucky to have great kids who now have great kids of their own.
