What ages are you referring to though. The emotions are so different when being on display at 7, versus 17. Or even pre versus post pubescence. What can be considered embarrassing, if seven, can feel humiliating, if you are fifteen or older.

(And no, I am not talking private parental spankings. Totally different experience then being spanked publicly.)

And take that from someone who was once there.
