Yes in front of the class she did preserve kids modesty by baring boys and girls bottoms as they lay over her lap. I think this was done, not through compassion, but simply because even Miss Dowling did not want to go 'too far' when administering public bare bottom spankings. What she did in private I don't know.

She pulled your underwear and pants back up whilst still across her lap. Again, I suspect for reasons similar to above.

I saw her administer about a dozen spankings in class in front of everybody. About two thirds of these were boys the rest girls.
