With my stepmother Carrie I and my siblings had to bare our own bottoms. And then stand beside her for a scolding. The girls if they were wearing dresses or skirts had to hold them up. This was all part of my stepmomma's pre spanking ritual, designed to humiliate us and increase the drama and tension. Humiliating and horrible though this was, once you were over her lap getting your 'fanny fried' you wished you were back there standing beside her getting a scolding. Everything is relative I suppose!

With my Daddy he just ordered you to "drop em" - your pants and underwear or if the girls were wearing dresses and skirts "get em up" after they had lowered their panties and over the back of the sofa or edge of the bed you went for "a darned good whuppin"! Dad tended not to scold but let his leather belt do the talkin'! It soon got its message across, believe me!!
