I am not sure ambivalent is the right word for me. I was also very upset when seeing or hearing a spanking. At least some times, I remember it made me angry. But I was too overwhelmed by those feelings to think about my own spanking fetish during those moments. At all other times, I fantasized about spankings being given, even giving or getting them myself, and I felt like there was something very wrong with me. The shame around spanking was intense in many ways.
