I lived at home until I was about 20 (so about 1994). Looking back, I think it was silly to worry that I would get in trouble at 18 or 19 and get a spanking. Especially as a working, tax paying adult from the time I graduated. Certainly one was never threatened. And my mom definitely mellowed with my younger sister who is ten years younger than I am.

I think what I was saying is until I moved out, I don't think I ever really thought that the risk of a spanking was totally over, even if I hadn't had one in years.
