I worded my previous post a little awkwardly, I think. It turns out that at some point when I was growing up I did work out that girls got bare bottom spankings too. I guess I must have got this confirmed in high school via yahoo search.

I do remember my high-school girlfriend telling me she used to get spanked with a flip-flop, which I thought wouldn't hurt much at all. She assured me that a flip-flop is actually very painful, and internet accounts have confirmed that for me. Anyway, I worked up the courage and asked if she was ever spanked bare-butt, and I think the answer was "no" because instead of say 'yes' or 'no' she proceeded to tell me about a time she was playing outside and got covered in mud (probably when she was about 8). She said her dad made her strip to fully nude so he could hose her off before she was allowed to come inside. She found that whole situation especially embarrassing because, while ot was in her back yard, she lived in a corner house with a chain length fence. Also, I don't suppose it was common for her dad to see her naked by that time.
