Hey Reed same here. Was reason it wasnt ever harder because you were always spanked hard? This was my experience, whenever Dad had me bent over for the yardstick i knew i was going to get its full potential.

The number of whacks could vary a lot, it was the main way Dad made punishing us boys fit the crime.

A lot of the time i guessed how many i was about to get off the seriousness of the lecture. But i had no control over this and was sometimes way out.

Sometimes i got told to stand up after the last one and kind of thought i got off light. More often though Dad kept on whacking me way past the amount id guessed. These ones front of mind was the pain, crying and choking back tears but also silently in my mind pleading that id been punished enough and for the smacks to end.
