When any of us had earned a spanking from Carrie we had to go stand beside her as she sat in the 'spanking chair' and bare our bottoms! For me and my brother Andy that meant dropping our pants and underwear to our ankles. For my sisters, Betty Sue, Mary Jane and Peggy Lynn, if they were wearing pants or a skirt, they had to do likewise. If, however, they were wearing a dress they had to, after they had lowered their panties and dropped them to their ankles, lift up the dresses and hold them in position so that their bottoms were bare. Essentially, like us boys they were naked from the waist down. Then came the scolding which you had to listen to and give the correct responses: which, for the most part, amounted to "yes Ma'am" and "no, Ma'am"! You just hoped that you did not have an audience when this was happening! More often than not, however, you did! Then when Carrie was done scolding us, over her lap you went for the spanking. Any relief you had from no longer standing there exposed quickly disappeared as you were instantly reminded just how much A SPANKING HURTS!!!! And Carries spankin's were real 'scorchin's'! Then when it was over and your butt was glowing like a 'Mississippi sunset' you did your 'spanky dance' much to the amusement of every body there until Carrie would order you to the corner where you had to stand with your hands on your head - though if the girls were wearing dresses they had to hold them up so their hot, throbbing, scarlet buttocks were exposed for all to see! Under no circumstances were you allowed to rub you butt cheeks! Woe to anyone who did! Carrie felt, justifiably, that the hot, throbbing burn on our buttocks would remind us of our wrongdoing and compel us to focus on it! After about half an hour the burning throb would subside to a warm and itchy tingle; not altogether unpleasant! Then after an hour we were allowed to leave the corner. Spankings in our house really were ritualised and drawn out events! Designed to to make and leave an 'impression' in more ways than one! And boy oh boy they sure did!!
