Hi Dave
It wasn't obvious she was looking at us just lots of side eye and stolen glances. This intensified as we got older. There was a core group of guys she hung out with, about four of us. We completely thought of her as the fifth guy. One time, we all rode our trail bikes through the rain, returned to our friends house,stripped and threw the clothes in the dryer. We proceeded to stand around naked in the laundry room waiting for our clothes to dry. She was there the whole time. I guess we were about in the fifth grade, so age 11. It didn't even occur to us that she had opted to leave her clothes on and towel off.
In contrast, we were changing clothes another time and my sister, two year younger walked in (a real girlie girl) this same group of boys who were in their underwear, screamed to high heaven for her to get out! You would have thought she had tried to discover a state secret, lol. That was the contrast. Our tomboy had complete access to us while other girls were kryptonite.

Very interesting. Did she ever comment on your nudity? How obvious was her looking? My friends sister was really obvious about what she was looking at.

She didn't comment directly. As we got older, her attention was always drawn to the penis. She also played a sort of "touching game". If we happened to be in various stages of undress around her, she liked to point out any "gnarly bruises" we might have and run her finger over them. Now as an adult I see what she was doing. Back then .. clueless. She might have been a tomboy but she was definitely all girl. I'm sure she chuckled at her female classmates as they chattered endlessly about boys and what they might look like under their clothes. She was miles ahead of them on that score.

I wanted to add a little context to this thread. Thinking about these events for the first time in many years, I began to wonder WHY were we naked around her so much? That's kinda weird. Then I remembered the swimming pool.
One of our group, Daniel, had a pool in his backyard. I real inground one. We swam there two to three times a week. Given the part of the country we live in, the pool was open 9 months or more a year.
We would all show up on our bikes with our trunks rolled up in a towel like our moms had taught us while tomboy would arrive already in her tank swimming suit with a long t-shirt over it. Daniels parents had made a mackshift changing area in the back of the garage with benches and hooks on the wall. We would change there while tomboy stood by and waited. And of course, being boys, we had naked boxing matches and all the other general silliness that goes on. That is the context for the memory. The laundry room example I gave was really a one off. It was the pool area that produced most of the memories. It's been wild remembering all these experiences. :)
