I saw this lady regularly as a room mom or on field trips. In an attempt make things less awkward, she would talk to me about school and her daughter and other people we mutually knew. This made things MORE awkward, not less. My mom was there as well and would bring up things like a genital rash or other embarrassing medical conditions. This was grade school through middle school.
