I first came across that name in a biography of Shirley Temple.
At one time, there was a George Spelvin Award given to outstanding move actors.
If I remember correctly, Shirley Temple did not receive that award, but was present at a banquet where someone else did.

Here is an interesting Website:

https://academicinfluence.com/resources/tools/ghost-detect

If you suspect that two writers are the same,
or, conversely, if you suspect two writers are NOT the same,
you copy and paste a sample from each writer and the program estimates the probability that the two writers are the same.

And now, if you will excuse me,
I shall log into that Website and find out if ... is Scamptoo, if ... is me, or if Scamptoo is me.

I forgot to thank ...
..., I appreciate the recognition.

Using samples from this thread, I find that
... writes on a 9th grade reading level,
scamptoo writes on a 6th grade reading level,
and I write on a 5th grade reading level.

It's nice to find out that I'm not three people.
Sometimes I have a hard enough time being ONE person.

I wonder why we haven't heard from Jeepman on this forum.
He was quite a prominent poster on the blue forum and the yellow forum.
Many participants got accused of being Jeepman,
and on one occasion, that accusation was leveled at me.

Jeepman told some wild stories about himself,
and we all wondered if they were true.
After his father died, goes his tale,
he remarried a woman with two daughters.
When Jeepman misbehaved, his stepmother punished him by making him strip in front of his stepsisters, spanking his bare bottom, which didn't hurt, and making him spend the rest of the day naked.
The stepsisters enjoyed that, so they often lied to the stepmother.
Jeepman enjoyed this whole thing, so he didn't deny those lies.

That's the most believable of his stories.
He also purportedly threw a party for 12 elementary school girls when he was 14 years old, remaining naked the whole time.
On another occasion, when he was about that age, he went to a city park and pushed several elementary school girls on the swings and on the merry-go-round, again completely naked.

If those stories were true,
then I wish I WAS Jeepman!

Captain Obvious, you're accusing me of the wrong crime.
I'm an exhibitionist, not a rapist.
