I had an aunt who bathed her sons a couple of times a week up until early puberty usually two at a time in the tub to save water. I stayed with them the summer I was 16. I was a late bloomer, so I got bathed with a cousin. We would be standing in the tub soaped all over and older girl cousins would walk in and think nothing of it. It was the norm in that house. Girls got privacy. This was in the early 70’s.

I grew up in Midwest and then a foster kid after 9 in Florida. Harsh to say but my new mom was more doting, cooked more, but also signed me up for every free sport year round.

I had a best friend from sports and her friend had two daughters that we all played together. I would take clothes off after sports often with other boy at home. Boys and girls took baths together and swam nude in pool but admittedly boys were naked outside of bath often.

We did not go to beach more than once every two weeks but I like other did not even own a swim suit. Girls always wore swim suit at beach.
