my experience, at least on this aspect, is practically identical to yours: I also go to the beach in a t-shirt and underwear, so I'm naked from the moment we set up the umbrella until we leave. My parents almost always dress me in the parking lot, so during the walk from the beach to the parking lot I finish drying myself after they've washed me to remove the sand and dried me quickly with a towel. I was often one of the very few or the only one naked in the parking lot, almost everyone changed on the beach…
After having set up the umbrella and undressing me, my mother took the bottle of sunscreen (SPF 50) and spread it very well on my "private" areas, so that they were protected from sunburn. Often, at the end of this procedure, my penis was partially erect, and this was very embarrassing. Luckily, it would then go down almost immediately, but those around me would see it and smile. Very embarrassing, especially when there were girls my age around.
Unfortunately, I happened to run into classmates or anyone I knew, and I swear they were the most embarrassing moments of my life. It was much better to be naked in front of strangers.
The least awkward moment of the two was when I met our neighbor's daughter. She was older, probably 20 or 22, and was at the beach with her boyfriend. When she saw us, she stopped to say hello to my mom and me. After exchanging a few pleasantries with my mom, she looked at me, smiled, and said, "Andrea, I didn't think you were naked on the beach. You're 12 now, you're a big boy!" Then, staring at my penis, she said, "Not that big… it's the same as when I used to bathe you years ago as your babysitter… You don't need a swimsuit… your mother is right to leave you naked, little puppy" and she laughed a lot, along with my mom and her boyfriend… and she walked away, giving me a little pat on the butt. Then I wanted to sink into the sand, extremely embarrassed, I turned red like a lobster.
I never thought I would experience a more embarrassing moment than this one in the future. Instead, the following summer, the one I was 13, I met a male classmate of mine at the seaside. I was playing by the sea when I heard someone calling my name. I looked up and it was Luca, a classmate of mine. He wasn't one of my best friends; he'd never come over to my house to study or play, but I liked him and we got along well. "Oh my God! Why are you naked?" "Aren't you ashamed, you're 13!" He said in surprise in a voice loud enough for those around to hear and look at me. But the worst thing was that next to him was his sister Chiara, who was a year and a half younger than us. She started laughing, putting a hand over her mouth, without taking her eyes off my penis. Instinctively I covered myself with my hands, but Chiara, still laughing, said: "Andrea, we've all seen your "pisellino" (little penis) by now, can you take your hands off…" "Luca, why is his penis so much shorter than yours? It looks like a little child's…" (this sentence also slightly embarrassed him since she was talking openly about his penis) "He's even shorter than you, are you sure he's your classmate?" And they both kept laughing while I was dying of embarrassment and shame.
I read a post of yours somewhere where you talked about a friend of yours (or classmate, I don't remember exactly) who came to your house with her mom and saw you completely naked while your mom was bathing you, and they commented on the size of your penis. So I think you can understand exactly how I felt at that moment.

Do your grandparents' friends have sons/daughters your age or are just adults. In the latter case, you shouldn't be too embarrassed…
I used to swim and play soccer, and I understand you perfectly: my teammates and the boys at my swimming lessons saw my even tan, without any traces of my swimsuit, and they also made fun of me, saying things like yours: "Andrea is still a little boy because he sunbathes naked on the beach," or "Aren't you ashamed of being naked at 13?" or "I would have died of shame, but since you're still a little boy, you can do it…" or things like that, which embarrassed me greatly and made me suffer. Luckily, my best friend defended me, telling them to shut up and that it was my parents' choice, not mine.

These things happened 15 years ago, and I'm now 28.
But I assure you, they've embarrassed me so much over the years that I remember them as if they happened yesterday.
Although now, at 28, as I wrote in the first post to Matteo, I agree with Eliza: what's happening to Matteo is a wonderful gift!
I completely agree with what she wrote: "Initially, it will feel great, finally being able to cover up your things. But soon this will pass, and you're going to feel regret that this joy of being truly carefree is gone forever. Trust me, I speak from experience. Most, if not all, adults live with this regret. Don't do this to yourself. Nature has given you a chance to prolong your carefreeness. Use it. Love it, be proud, and more importantly, be happy! :)"

Wow! I imagine it was very embarrassing, both with your high school classmate who repeatedly touched your penis and with your middle school classmate who witnessed you bathing and wearing diapers at night. OMG! I would have died of embarrassment the first time!

I understand that your mother treats you like a toddler because you're not fully developed. Unfortunately, my parents did the same to me. I understand!

My mother bathed me until I was fully developed. For a few months after the onset of puberty, she continued to bathe me under the pretext of checking that everything was going well and not stopping.

Well if Martina has seen you naked many times, while bathing at your house and naked on the beach, then why are you not used to her seeing you naked and feel comfortable at those times?
I would think that by now you would be used to her seeing you naked and not be embarrassed anymore.

There are situations where I'm more comfortable undressing, like on nude beaches. Other moments are and will remain awkward, like my female classmate watching me while my mom washes me like a baby.
