Hello, Eliza!

Thank you for your words that "Most if not all adults live with this regret. Don't do this to yourself."

I thought I was the only person who felt that way.
Like you, I’m sorry Matteo can’t spend the rest of his life in Nature’s garb,
but I never had that chance in the first place.

Where I grew up, there were no nude beaches. I didn’t even know there were any.
Where I grew up, high schools didn’t have nude swim teams which held competitions which were open to the public. I didn’t even know there were any.
I grew up wondering what it felt like to be nude outdoors.

Even partial nudity makes me feel envious.
I recently read of a British school which held an annual May Day celebration. In front of an audience of 200 parents and friends, the 9-, 10-, and 11-year-old boys skipped around the May pole, wearing nothing but minimal gym shorts.
I would give anything to trade places.
During the Seventies, I saw boys confidently roaming anywhere they wished, sporting bare feet, bare chests, and shorts which did not waste an inch.
I would give anything to trade places.

Thank you for assuring me that I wasn't crazy.
I hope every girl on the beach gets a good close look at Matteo.

You can be sure of that! I've never worn a swimsuit to the beach. Luckily, sometimes, like yesterday, I go to nudist places, so I also see naked girls. It's nicer on equal terms.
