Out of shame, I remained silent for the first part of the train ride. During the visit to the island's small zoo, Camilla took me aside: "Don't let it ruin your day. Even my mother insisted on cleaning me in the public restrooms until two years ago." After the train ride, we went to the beach. There are many small beaches on the island; throughout the day, I saw a few naked men on the more secluded ones. However, at the one we visited during picnic lunch hours, there were only families and couples in bathing suits. Only me, naked. Camilla was more embarrassed than I was: her mother had forgotten the top of her bikini (she was already wearing the bottom as underwear). So Camilla had to go topless. "You have nothing to hide," her mother told her, making her angry. It was my turn to console her. We walked away from our parents a bit and lay down in a small pool among the rocks. Camilla complained that her mother had done it on purpose. I made her laugh by standing up and pretending to realize I was naked at that moment.

I understand why you remained silent for the first part of the train ride.
I think it's very different in terms of embarrassment to be seen naked on a beach than to be seen pooping in a public bathroom with the door open and then your mom wiping your butt. I can understand your embarrassment and shame.
"There were only families and couples in bathing suits. Only me, naked." How did you feel? Even though it's not the first time you've found yourself in a situation like this...

After all, you had already seen her completely naked... Her mom said similar things to when Martina and her mom saw you bathing for the first time... I think those are very embarrassing things for a guy/girl to hear, right?
