 I have to admit that I have always been quite fascinated with the sight of a mom taking her child firmly by the hand and leading them out of the sanctuary to a back room for a spanking. And I have often witnessed such scenes over the years. I have not really ever witnessed the actual spanking itself, outside of maybe a few warning smacks, but I have heard the crisp sounds of a spanking behind closed doors, whether it's the ladies room, library, nursery, or empty Sunday school room. I even had one mom in particular some years back playfully threaten me that I was next to be spanked as she was coming out of the library with her tearful young son and I was just about to walk in.
