 Whenever I got a spanking, that was pretty much how both my parents did it. Although Daddy's hands were so big until I hit puberty he could cover my whole bare bottom with a single smack. As I got older he would do it like Momma and alternate cheeks.

With my own, I alternate. I usually spank them by hand occasionally by hairbrush. I normally do it over the knee and about a dozen good swats.
