Subject: countdown begun

Well, I don't know who still checks this, but I'll keep writing anyway! We are closing in on the end of school. I only have six days of teaching left! I honestly thought that June 20th would never come, but now everything is happening so quickly that it's hard to believe I ever had free time. It also means that about $1500.00 needs to come into my possesion so that I can actually make my trip this summer.
In other news, I have a new addition to my "family." Ellie adopted a kitten for me last Thursday! His name is Arthur, and he's very cute. Not as smart as Minu, but then Minu was a rare gem of a cat. Unfortunately, my roommates are psychotic and are making me pay the $300.00 pet deposit today (even though the cat is going cross-country with me so he won't really be around most of the summer). I tried to reason with them, but now Jenny's called a house meeting for tonight to discuss all of the "issues" of me leaving for the summer. I don't know quite what she's talking about, I would think there'd be less "issues" since I won't be there-at the rate she's going I might not come back!
I hope that everyone is doing well. Nana, are you almost done? I wouldn't worry about the "cool" crowd for two reasons. 1) You're going to Japan which makes you infinitly cooler than anyone, and 2) Most "cool" kids are just idiots with money. I think you're cool! Check you guys later.
